From the Seas to the Skies
Southern Launch has recently appointed several key leadership roles within its organisation. The company has notably hired key personnel from Australia’s Future Submarine Program, who now have their sights set on space.
Leading Southern Launch’s Engineering Team is Paul Pearce, who has stepped into the role of General Manager – Engineering. Paul was recently with Naval Group Australia as a Land-Based Test Facility (LBTF) Program Manager. Southern Launch has appointed Rebecca Darcey, as the company’s General Manager – Corporate Services. Rebecca most recently held the role of Finance Manager at Naval Group Australia.
Further appointments within the team include,
Travis Hillman as the People & Culture Manager, previously with Naval Group Australia as a Talent Acquisition Specialist
Glyn Hancock as a Systems Engineer, previously with Frazer-Nash Consultancy as a Systems Engineering Consultant and a founding member of the Systems Engineering and Integration team for the Future Submarine Program
Simon Douglass, as the Mission Technology Lead, previously with Cobham Aviation Services as a Manager Mission Systems Operations Support
