Work experience program

Every year Southern Launch conducts a work experience program for high school students (year 10 or 11) to learn about the space industry.

• Flight systems workshop

• Industry excursions - we visit other businesses in the SA space industry

• Flight safety analysis and regulatory approvals workshop

• Manufacture your own rocket

• Rocket launch!

Who are we looking for?

High school students with a passion for space! Throughout the week students will learn about aeronautical engineering, flight safety, media and communications, space law and avionics systems.

When is the program?

The work experience program typically runs in June or July. Keep an eye out on our social media pages for when applications are open!
